Antarang Foundation
Our Infosec girl Ashwini Varadkar, Mumbai Chapter Leader, was invited as a guest speaker at Antarang Foundation as a part of their CareerAware program for their students in January 2019.
Antarang’s CareerAware program is for 8th Graders and aimed to encourage career exploration amongst their students from a young age. Throughout the year their students cover 7 career streams in detail. The month of January was dedicated to IT when Ashwini was invited.
Free workshop constructed by infosecgirls and owaspwia to satisfy the curiosity and professional development, given the modern Internet and its various associate risks at OWASP AppSec 2018 USA.
Workshop details :
Workshop was an interactive one day workshop on how to test applications for security issues. Participants of this course will learn how to do the following: Scope a security review and prioritise the work. Understand the manual and automated tools and techniques available and when to apply them. Learn how to determine the real risk value. In order to achieve these goals assess the OWASP Top Ten security areas within a real world application.
We organised free web application pentesting workshop at Nullcon, Goa 2018 which was attended by 25 Diveristy candidates.
