Winja CTF for Women at NULLCON 2015

Red Hat India - Women’s Day Celebrations

The InfoSec Girls were invited to give a talk on Women in Technology on the account of International Women’s Day at Red Hat India Bengaluru office. We had close 20-30 people attending the talk from different departments of Red Hat. Our agenda for the talk was Women in Tech and InfoSec, Cyber crimes faced by women and Career in InfoSec .We talked about Women in Technology and InfoSec and what holds women back and issues faced by them.

The Information Security Workshop at HasGeek House, Bangalore

The InfoSec girls organized a one-day workshop on 17th Jan 2015 on Information Security workshop at the HasGeek house. As it was part of the initiative it was all women event held in association with HasGeek. The event had close to 20-25 attendees with mixed crowd of students, developers, network admins & security analysts. The workshop covered basics of Network and Web Application Security, which included topics like Nmap, Metasploit and Owasp Top 10.
